Order Of Operations:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 11:30am-12:30pm

*All programs are available at no cost to participants*

In House

Soup Kitchen

Participants receive a freshly prepared meal every Sunday.

Occurs: Every Sunday from 2-3p.

Requirements: None.

Food Aid Package (Emergency Food)

Participants can receive a small bag of frozen meat once every 30 days.

Occurs: Everyday that we are open (on your respective date).

Requirements: None.

Mini Market Shopping (Food Rescue)

Participants can come and shop for fresh produce, dairy, dessert, bread, and other food goods daily.

Occurs: Everyday that we are open.

Requirements: None

The 2nd Shift Program

Bridging the nutrition gap by creating greater access to food goods for working families.

Occurs: Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 5:00-6:30p.

Requirements: None

Case Manager Advocacy Program (CMAP)

This program ensures food access for case managers seeking food/resources for their clients who are experiencing food insecurity.

Occurs: Every 3rd Tuesday from 2-4p.

Requirements: Case manager must register to participate.

The Cross Nutrition Connection (TCNC)

This initiative aims to help improve access for our participants struggling with prediabetes, diabetes, or weight management.

Occurs: Everyday that we are open (one meal, once a week, per participant).

Requirements: Participant must meet the criteria to receive meals.

Offsite

The 2nd Shift Program

Bridging the nutrition gap by creating greater access to food goods for working families.

Occurs: At Sentara BelleHarbour every 1st Tuesday of the month from 5:30-7:00p.

Fill The Barrel - Fill A Belly

Provides opportunity for the community at large to join us in the fight of alleviating food insecurity for families by donating food or funding to ensure the programs & services of this organization remain a safety net.

Mobile Distribution

An alternative low-to-no contact food distribution service model that seeks to bridge the food gap by creating access particularly for those in our rural areas who are experiencing food insecurity.

Community Paramedicine System

Suffolk Christian serves as a food resource partner with the City of Suffolk’s non-emergency call response team.

Operation Feeding Our Town

We are building stronger communities through food distributions in partnership with our local schools and senior service providers.

Non Food Programs

For The Health Of It - A Health & Wellness Initiative

Diaper Depot

Parents, Guardians, Caregivers of children or adults can receive diapers twice a month.

Occurs: Everyday that we are open (on your respective week).

Requirements: None

Charity Closet

Our participants can shop through publically donated apparel and household items.

Occurs: Everyday that we are open.

Requirements: None

Wellness Market

Our partnering organization provide recourses sand information that help out participants obtain better physical and mental outcomes.
